Undergraduate Program

Women’s Studies at the University of South Florida offers an interdisciplinary field of study that features and critically examines women’s experiences and takes into consideration historical, cultural, racial, class, and other differences. The department offers a B.A., a minor in Women’s Studies, and a concentration in Women of Color Studies. Enhancing knowledge about feminisms and gender studies through teaching, emphasis on multiculturalism, and diversity, the department focuses on critical thinking, collaborative learning, and personal empowerment.
